Dr. Katie Langdon was born in Wisconsin and moved to Rockwall, TX when she was in second grade. Growing up, she threw herself into gymnastics and competition cheer leading. She then added to these with equestrian and swimming.
Dr. Langdon found that the physical demands of all these activities were taking it's toll on her body. Her low back pain was keeping her awake at night, but she refused to give up sports. When she went to see her primary care physician, they recommended stretching, which provided no relief. She then looked into other avenues and found chiropractic. which provided her a healthy, proactive solution to the physical demands of the activities she enjoyed.
Dr. Langdon graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science. She then received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University in 2018. In her time at Parker, she became passionate about serving athletes and families. Dr. Langdon completed her internship at the Dallas VA Hospital where she developed a new passion for serving veterans and helping them live a healthier lifestyle.
Dr. Langdon is also a certified Animal Chiropractor, a specialty requiring extra training and certification, and is overjoyed to be able to serve both humans and animals.
Dr. Langdon still enjoys staying active. She practices yoga frequently and can usually be found working on her handstands surrounded by her three dogs. She also enjoys caring for her horse and riding when she finds the free time. Dr. Langdon continues to seek opportunities to grow in her education and better help those within her community.
