Dr. Andrea Ellis, DC, CFMP

Dr. Andrea Ellis is a highly skilled North Dallas and Richardson, Tx Chiropractor and Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (CFMP), specializing in non-invasive migraine and headache treatment.

She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northern Arizona University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Management. While studying full-time, she worked full-time in a hospital, where she fell in love with healthcare and patient care.

Driven to expand her expertise, Dr. Ellis went on to earn two Bachelor of Science degrees in Anatomy and Health & Wellness before completing her Doctorate of Chiropractic at Parker University in 2007.

Dr. Ellis has pursued extensive post-graduate training and holds certifications in:

• Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (CFMP) from FMU – addressing internal hormonal imbalances that contribute to chronic pain, inflammation, and migraines
• TMJ Dysfunction & Adjusting – relieving jaw tension, headaches, and neck pain
• MLS Laser Therapy – a drug-free, advanced treatment for inflammation and pain relief
• Pregnancy & Pediatric Chiropractic – providing gentle, specialized care for moms and children
• Webster Technique (Certified) – supporting optimal pelvic alignment during pregnancy
• Craniosacral Therapy (Certification Level 1) – a gentle therapy for nervous system balance
• Kennedy Decompression Technique (National Certification) – a non-surgical approach for spinal decompression and nerve relief

Throughout her career, Dr. Ellis has been involved in the chiropractic community, holding memberships with:

Dr. Ellis is married to Dr. Billy Kuykendall, DC, whom she met in Gross Anatomy lab in chiropractic school, an unforgettable first interaction that involved washing out a cadaver’s heart! 

Together, they live in Dallas, TX, with their youngest children: Molly, and Mason. The oldest, Hudson is an accountant in Tulsa and married Sarah Kuykendall in 2023.

Her passion for service extends beyond her patients. She has been historically active in dog rescue and fostering (which resulted in her retirement after adopting three dogs!), Dallas CASA, Girl Scouts, and Scouts of America. She currently volunteers at her younger children's high school with various sports and clubs.
