Treatment for TMJD in our office involves a combination of treatments, depending on your history/symptoms including:
1. Full spinal adjustment
2. Adjustment of the jaw
3. Myofascial release of the muscles of the jaw

4. MLS laser therapy on the jaw
5. Home care instructions, including exercises and lifestyle modifications
Dr. Ellis has expertise in adjusting the spine, and has been doing so for 15 years, but she is truly passionate about treating disorders of the neck, head, and jaw.
Additional, specialized training has equipped Dr. Ellis with the knowledge and skills to treat TMJD effectively.
A TMJD treatment is included in a New Patient - Chiropractic visit.
Your first visit will include a full exam, including jaw movement measurements and a full spine and jaw adjustment, as well as myofascial release of the jaw muscles.
A full body massage and/or laser therapy can be added on as an additional service as needed, depending on availability.
